Leftovers. . . a blessing in disguise

Thanksgiving leftovers are great, except they extend the eating frenzy. I'm happy to say the scale this morning had not changed since Wednesday, before the mass eating began. I got in a three-mile run today along with an hour body pump class. I think I made up for it once I got home and dug into leftover stuffing and risotto. I need to get this food out of my house! I'm heading to my sister's tomorrow and all bad food will be gone this weekend. It's back to veggies and Lean Cuisine for me.

I think I got in a little extra weight lifting while shopping with the crazies this morning. Let's see, you have to run to beat the other customers, wrestle to get those sale items before they're gone, weight lift those bags while you continue to shop, squat to reach the items on the bottom shelf, and walk to the next store. Yes, shopping is officially a sport. It should be an Olympic event!

I did get some good deals this morning, but I could probably have done just as well by sleeping in and shopping online on cyber Monday. I think I will sleep in next year. I'm exhausted.
