Watching Dancing with the Stars! Man Edita's back is all muscle and Karina has amazing abs!
I love to dance. Whenever I go to parties, I always get into the dancing. I just love it. I took jazz dancing lessons for eight years, disco dancing in the 70's, and even ballroom dancing in the 90's. I wish people were more willing to cut loose on the dancefloor! People think I'm drunk because I'm not afraid to cut loose. I just think people take their "fun" way to seriously. Really, everywhere you go, people are so afraid of making a fool of themselves, they forget to have fun. I remember a woman telling me and my sisters one time we were "making complete fools of ourselves." We just laughed at her.
Not only is dancing great exercise, it makes you laugh, which is really good for you too. I got the best workout ever at my sister's party this summer. I danced non-stop and even did a bunch of yoga moves. We all love to dance when we get together, and no we're not drunk!
I do have to say Tom Delay shakin' his but is not a pretty sight, but kudos to him for doing it. Eww old man but shakin' to Wild Thing! Very funny to watch though.
I got some pictures from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure race yesterday. Boy, do I look like a flabalanche! Here's a tip, stand on the end in the photo, that way you can be cropped out rather easily. Worked today. Just reminds me that I need to step it up in the diet/exercise department.
It was a busy Monday, so I didn't have time to cook, but I kept it healthy with a breakfast of a Weight Watcher's breakfast sandwich, Healthy Choice Beef Merlot, and Healthy Choice Pumpkin Squash Ravioli. All very yummy and healthy.
Went to Body Pump today. Scott, the instructor was out sick. How could he do that to us! It was so disappointing! I'll have to give him crap Wednesday. Anyway, it was still a good class. It's good to mix it up with instructors. They do different things so you work different muscles.
I need new sneakers. My toe hurt after the race yesterday. I actually set out for another run last evening, but my toe was so sore, I had to turn around. I wish I knew the best sneaker for running and also other fitness classes. If your joints can take it, it's a really good work out to tone you up really fast in the lower half, which is what I need. . . to get rid of the thunder thighs and the J-Lo booty. Ok, my tummy bothers me more than the junk in the trunk, though.
